Clean up your filters and screens the easy way, with a simple, powerful and effective overnight soak in Pure-Spa Filter Cleaner
Contents 1 Litre
Sand Filters
Backwash filter and drain it.
Add 250 ml. per 18" filter, 500 ml per 24" filter or 750 ml per 30" filter
Fill the chamber with water. Allow to soak overnight.
Backwash the filter and return to service.
Cartridge Filters
Remove cartridge and other screens from the unit. Flush any soiling from the filter body, cartridge and screens. Soak overnight the filter cartridge and screens in a 2 to 5% solution of FILTERCLEAN depending upon soiling. Rinse thoroughly. Reassemble the filter and return to service.
Carry out these procedures at least fortnightly.

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES MIX CALCIUM HYPOCHLORITE WITH STABILISED CHLORINE DONORS (DICHLOR OR TRICHLOR)
- Do not use with other materials unless the instructions say you can.
With pool chemicals, this is particularly true with Chlorine, Bromine and Oxygen Sanitisers.
- NEVER mix different chemicals, including cleaning products, weed-killers and chlorine products as a dangerous reaction may occur
- When pre-dissolving chemicals, always use a clean polythene container. Wash thoroughly before and after use.
- Close the container after use.
- Do not eat whilst handling chemicals.
- Store chemicals in a cool dry place well away from children and animals.
- Do not smoke whilst handling chemicals.
- Handle chemicals in a well ventilated area, especially Chlorine and Bromine products.
- Do not allow powders to become damp.
- When pre-dissolving chemicals always add chemicals to water and never water to chemicals
- Do not add chemicals to the pool or spa bath whilst there are people in the water.
- Consult the local authority before disposing of surplus chemicals. They may have a special procedure for this.
- Do not discharge large quantities of water containing chemicals without the consent of the disposal authority.
In the UK this will usually be your water company.
- Carefully clean up all spillage.
- Regularly test your pool water.
General Spa Safety
- Do not drink alcoholic beverages before or during spa use
- Never allow water temperature to exceed 40oC
- Before children use the spa ensure that the water temperature does not exceed 30oC
- Do not allow children to use the spa without supervision
- If you are pregnant, have high blood pressure, any cardiovascular condition or are on medication consult your doctor before using the spa
