Returns
We hope that you are delighted with your purchase, however we realise that occasionally items may need to be returned. Standard items may be returned or exchanged within 7 days of receipt.
When you buy an item at Lifeandhome.co.uk, the contract is between you, The Customer, and the 3rd Party Seller who has listed the item.
If you wish to discuss or organise a return, exchange or refund of any item, please contact the Seller concerned. Their email contact details are provided on your order confirmation emails. You should be able to reach an amicable agreement with one another and if necessary, you can return your item to the supplier for a refund.
You must return the Product(s) to the Seller, in the same condition in which you received them and at your own cost and risk. You have a legal obligation to take reasonable care of the products while they are in your possession.
Important
All returned items must be unused, in their original packing, in resaleable condition and returned to the supplier from whom they came:
•   You must cancel your order in writing (you can email sellers, you will find their email on your order confirmation)
•   You must return the goods to the seller concerned within 7 days
•   We cannot refund any item that is not returned.
•   You should obtain proof of postage or send the item(s) back via special delivery as we can’t help you if your parcel goes missing.
•   Costs of return postage will be at your expense unless the goods are faulty.
Please note that certain items are likely to be non returnable/refundable
• Items that are made to order, or personalised
• Items that are likely to go off or deteriorate quickly such as food and flowers
• Personal products such as underwear, jewellery (especially earrings), cosmetics
• large items of furniture which are often specially made or ordered
• Sealed software that has been opened eg CDs, or DVDs
It is essential that you check the returns details included on the ‘About this Seller, Delivery & Terms’ tab on the product you are returning, or contact the supplier immediately upon receipt of confirmation of your order, for specific details of their own returns policies. This will vary from seller to seller and is completely at their own discretion, so long as it is within the relevant UK legislation.
Please make sure you understand the relevant sellers’ returns policies whenever you buy.
Returning products – your guide
•   You must notify the seller in writing if you wish to cancel your order.
•   You should not destroy or dispose of a product, even if it is faulty, before arrangements have been discussed with the Seller
•   Following such notification and subject to the terms of this policy, and terms & conditions for shoppers, the Seller will then arrange to issue a refund of your payment.
•   Please ensure that you agree with the Seller in writing when and how you will return the goods.
If you believe the goods are faulty, then you must explain this at this time.
•   You must return the goods appropriately packed to the Seller from whom you bought them.
•   The costs of return postage will be at your expense unless the goods are faulty.
•   Please include with the goods your full contact details including your order reference and a note stating the reason for return and specify any exchange you wish to make to replace the returned item.
•   You should get a certificate of posting from the Post Office or alternatively send the item(s) back via special delivery as we can’t help you if your parcel goes missing.
•   Refunds or exchanges will be made to you within 28 days of receipt of the returned goods, as long as you have followed all of the procedures and timeframes above, conditional upon stock availability.
•   Refunds will be made to your credit or debit card only, via Protx/Sage Pay, Lifeandhome.co.uk’s online payment facility.
Refunds
When you send your item back to the Seller, they will process the returned item and Lifeandhome will notify you via e-mail of your refund. You can expect a refund in the same form of payment originally used for purchase within 28 days of our receiving your return.Â
To be eligible for a refund, you must return your item to your Seller in the same condition you received it, with all packaging in tact, and the return must be postmarked within one week of receipt. Postage charges for returning the item are borne by you, the Customer.
Note: items purchased from Sellers at Lifeandhome need to be returned directly to the Seller and not to Lifeandhome. If in doubt contact the Lifeandhome Customer Support team so that they can provide you with the correct returns address

However, we do not warrant or guarantee that the information set out above will apply to the goods or services you have purchased. We are not responsible in any way whatsoever for any loss or damages you may suffer in relation to the information set out above, our Partners’ returns or refunds policies or in relation to any goods or services you purchase or return.
