My most loathed specialist cleaning problem is the mould that accumulates on the ceiling of the bathroom if certain people forget to open the window and ventolate the room when they have a shower!

My most loathed specialist cleaning problem is getting into all the nooks and crannies of my shower unit – the other day I resorted to using cotton buds to clean the gunk out of the shower tray where the door runners sit.
I absolutely hate housework and cleaning the bathroom so would love to win a shower squeegee!

I hate cleaning the oven, everytime I do it I line it with foil and the promises of being good and never letting it get dirty again, then few weeks later poof dirty again.

It is one of those jobs that you are always going to get around to and that niggle in the back of you mind but yet always end up going back to the bottom of the list, so once again that cold burnt oven chip remains lonely at the back of the oven for yet another day.

I think its such a hated job because theres nothing to show for it, you could spend all day on you hands and knees, twisting yourself into all sorts of positions to reach the different nooks and crannys, cleaning and scrubbing it, yet your partner would come in later and ask you what you had done all day and look at you like you were mad if you said cleaned the oven, oblivious to the blood sweat and tears that goes into it!

Cleaning venetian blinds is so fiddly. Even when they shut flat you can’t get all of the dust off in one go and it takes so long to clean each section individually. These blinds are so common both in offices and homes now so I think it’s an issue affecting many people who suffer with dust mite related allergies too.

Tile grout lines, as they seem to take forever and require a lot of elbow grease.

Cleaning my lovely laminate wood floor, because it means getting down on hands and knees (and knees are none too good) to get a good clean.

my most loathed cleaning problem is grease in the kitchen, no matter how you clean and what you use, the grease does not shift.

My most loathed cleaning problem is removing mould which forms on the sealant and sometimes between tiles and round the windows in the bathroom. I have natural stone tiles and am keen on using eco-friendly products which will not harm the tiles, me or the environment, but sadly most products don’t really work on the mould.

I loath cleaning bathroom tiles and trying to get the grout really white.

I have tried all sorts of brushes and cleaning products but either they mark the enamel bath below or don’t come up to standard.

It’s a job I really should do every week but never seem to have the time and before I know where I am the grout is not looking very white.

When I re-tile the bathroom I’m going to have huge tiles so there isn’t much grout to clean!!!!

Definitely cleaning the oven. All cleaners say use in a well ventilated space, and then you have to almost stick your head in the oven with these harsh abrasive cleaners. A nightmare. I’ve even considered PAYING someone to do it for me!!! Bad or what?

Another vote here for trying to keep grouting white. A top tip though, when it’d got beyond cleaning, a couple of coats of tippex will get it gleaming again.

I hate cleaning the shower which is a double sized enclosure. With 4 males in the house who all use it and who don’t have much idea about cleaning you can imagine the amount of shampoo and soap residue that builds up.
